So yesterday was my 23rd birthday! I celebrated all weekend but on my actual birthday (which is on a Monday) I was in what I like to call “blissful retail solitude” in the hip neighborhood of Shimokita, where I picked up some birthday presents for myself. I have pictures for you to see what I picked up!
Separate post coming on my weekend and what I wore!
Today was a good day. Good outfit, good movie, good company, good laughs, everything was just peachy 🍑! I’ve been dying to wear this shirt I got on sale at a Zara in Shibuya, but it was thoroughly annoying when the top ruffle kept blowing in the wind and exposing my goodies to the streets of Shinjuku. I had some help from Erwan to keep my shirt down and he took some great pics of me. Check them out below!
PS: I looove wearing pink now, I never knew how good I could look in it! Now on the lookout for different shades 🎀.
As a serial impulsive shopper, I buy many garments that I simply never have worn or will never have any use for. I’ve been trying to stop this type of behavior because 1) Tokyo is expensive and 2) I’m trying to downsize my closet. I decided to create Depop shop (username is plaitwoman) with some items that I have no use for or that I don’t wear. I also posted these items on Facebook for sale groups located in the Tokyo region for more exposure. I plan on posting these items on eBay as well, but if you’re interested in purchasing anything feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Check out some of the items in my closet below!
Hey there everyone, finally time for a new ootd post! Yesterday, I attended the Night Aquarium, an event where art, water and fish all come together to create beautiful artfully designed aquariums. I will post more about the event later but this is what I wore:
ASOS is one of the online stores I know that ships to Japan which is why I loyally shop with them and have over the years. I recently picked up some shoes and clothes and I want to share with everyone! Let’s commence,
That’s all for now, I hope to have another post tomorrow about my OOTD. Till then, Ciao 🍾😘
my favorite trend of fall was definitely the mock neck, also known as the second cousin to the turtleneck (just kidding, I made that up). Here are some looks I put together with the aforementioned style that I enjoyed wearing this past fall.
The shift dress
Dress: Forever 21
I’m in love with this dress and wore it to my going away party a couple of weeks ago. It’s a perfect transition piece from fall to spring 😊
Dress: Forever 21
I got this dress on clearance for only 7 dollars 😭 and I love to wear it with my thigh highs and long olive coat (which sadly I have to leave behind here in the states because I don’t have enough space in my suitcases 😔).
Top: Forever 21
I get so lucky finding sale items at F21; this too was was only 7 dollars as well.
-p.s. I’m leaving for Japan in two days and I’m so excited 😝
I am so so so sorry I haven’t posted in a while! It’s like I announced my big upcoming move to Japan and forgot to blog ever since and I apologize to anyone who regularly keeps up with my blog and have been waiting for another post. Here’s an OOTD I’ve been meaning to upload for a little while. It definitely has a “Kanye going on some errands” type of vibe with the woods behind my house serving as the scenery. Enjoy and look out for an upcoming blog post about my latest haul from Zara!
