Today’s outfit is representative of the day; relaxed, simple and clean. I like to spend my Mondays reading, blogging, doing laundry, watching movies, cleaning my apartment and eating whatever my heart desires. These are all forms of self care and methods I use to de-stress after a work week (especially after working a 6 day week like the one I just had!). I’m wearing some UniqloxLemaire white pants. I bought a few pieces from this collection and these pants are my least favorite out of the bunch but they went very well with my Monday aesthetic. I paired them with a simple H&M tank top and some dramatic sunglasses to finish off the look. Check out my look below!
First I would like to preface this post by saying I am so proud of myself for travelling on my own for the first time ever! It was a learning experience and I learned a lot about myself and what I am capable of. The trip had some down points including locals taking pictures of me without my permission (I can deal with the stares but come on wtf…) and cab drivers refusing me service most likely because of the color of my skin. Despite these experiences, I met a few great people in my short time in Hong Kong and had some memorable moments while in Asia’s global city. Here are just a few pictures from my trip!
This play on words is a new category I’m featuring on my blog, called “Mall Cops”. These are items that I purchased exclusively from inside a mall, so online shopping and thrift stores don’t count. My first post is this pink fuzzy sweater I got from H&M for 30 bucks. The price was a little steep in my opinion but since I don’t have one pink thing in my closet, I thought I’d make an investment. Thoughts?
Do you have some cheap ass jewelry from F21 or H&M that is fading? Before you throw it out, try some gold paint, nail polish or spray paint to revamp the color. For this H&M necklace I used this Revlon nail art pen.
