So hey guys I just recently got back from my vacation in Phuket 🇹🇭! It was awesome and much needed. Along the way I met some really nice people, tried new things and tried to look as bomb as I could without screaming “tourist” with my fits. I don’t usually invest in summer clothing because it’s just not my season for fashion and so the annual H&M 70% sale was a godsend. I bought so many tips and shorts at amazing prices like ¥500 yen a piece! These are some pictures of what I wore during my six days in Thailand!
So yesterday was my 23rd birthday! I celebrated all weekend but on my actual birthday (which is on a Monday) I was in what I like to call “blissful retail solitude” in the hip neighborhood of Shimokita, where I picked up some birthday presents for myself. I have pictures for you to see what I picked up!
Today was a good day. Good outfit, good movie, good company, good laughs, everything was just peachy 🍑! I’ve been dying to wear this shirt I got on sale at a Zara in Shibuya, but it was thoroughly annoying when the top ruffle kept blowing in the wind and exposing my goodies to the streets of Shinjuku. I had some help from Erwan to keep my shirt down and he took some great pics of me. Check them out below!
PS: I looove wearing pink now, I never knew how good I could look in it! Now on the lookout for different shades 🎀.
As a serial impulsive shopper, I buy many garments that I simply never have worn or will never have any use for. I’ve been trying to stop this type of behavior because 1) Tokyo is expensive and 2) I’m trying to downsize my closet. I decided to create Depop shop (username is plaitwoman) with some items that I have no use for or that I don’t wear. I also posted these items on Facebook for sale groups located in the Tokyo region for more exposure. I plan on posting these items on eBay as well, but if you’re interested in purchasing anything feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Check out some of the items in my closet below!
Hey there everyone, finally time for a new ootd post! Yesterday, I attended the Night Aquarium, an event where art, water and fish all come together to create beautiful artfully designed aquariums. I will post more about the event later but this is what I wore:
Dress: Trefac (only ¥300 😭)
Cowboy boots: ASOS
last weekend on one of my days off I visited the Uniqlo store in Honjin in search of some good deals. I had been to a store in Ozone and snagged some pants for work for only 500 yen! Uniqlo didn’t disappoint again and I found pieces from their collaboration with French luxury brand Lemaire, on sale. Here’s some pics!
PS: I booked a trip to Hon Kong for next month and I’m so excited. Ok bye 😁
I can truly say this dress has been one of the most loyal pieces in my closet throughout my college years but like a lot of things, it’s time to let go (it’s not you, it’s me 😂). It’s still in amazing condition and can fit a size small. Complete with a mesh panel that sits right above the belly button, it’s a perfect dress for a night out 😎 and surprisingly sturdy for purchase from Forever 21.
