Hey guys, I’m back with a new OOTD, that includes a traditional Japanese garment I hacked into a skirt. The Haramaki is used by the Japanese for warmth in the abdomen area. Me being me, I turned it into a pencil skirt and paired it with a cK sports bra and my cK vintage jean jacket. I also added a new patch to my jacket! As I was scouring the fabric store for black fabric to make my Halloween cape, I came across this biting lip patch that I immediately knew was destined for my jacket. Here are some pics below of how the jacket turned out and the rest of my outfit. Enjoy!
A couple of days ago, I went to brunch with my girls and had an amazing time (bottomless mimosas 😜!). The place we went to is called Front Page located on New Hampshire Ave, and I’ll be doing a review of it in the near future. For now this is a rundown of what I wore for the outing, enjoy!
This weeks Poshmark pick is this vintage acid wash overall dress. I bought it off of etsy two years ago and it’s one of the signature pieces I have decided to let go. It would make a great addition to any closet, especially someone who is a lover of all things vintage! In the background you can see a pair of sunglasses; these are Madewell and are also for sale on my poshmark closet. Get a closer look at poshmark.com/closet/uzochi ✨
My outfit on Sunday! I felt dressed a little differently (and older) than my usual style but I liked seeing my self 5 years from now 😎. Also, like my new hairstyle? My first time with a braid bob and I love it! Breakdown of my outfit below!
Last weekend I visited my little sister at her apartment in DC. She’s there all summer working and living there for free so naturally I’m jealous lol (she’s only a ten minute walk from Buffalo Exchange 😔). Here’s what I wore on our outing of shopping.
Crop Top: Wet Seal
Side Note: on our way back from shopping my shoe came apart. Luckily we were by a public library and I help it together with rubber bands supplied by the librarian. I immediately changed into my Docs when we got back, but good news: I had it fixed at a local shoe repair shop! Now they’re as good as new 😊
