Jinja is the Japanese word for shrine. Today for the first time I visited the Minamisawa Hikawa Shrine, a five minute walk from my apartment building. It had a serene and peaceful feeling and shrines are fast becoming my favorite places to take pictures. It was also such a beautiful experience to see some of the senior citizens in the community coming to the shrine to pray and pay their respects to their ancestors. I went with my friend Ruth and she was able to get some great shots of me! Check them out below!

P.S. – I will be getting my own domain very very very soon! I think its time to expand my blog and brand and I’ll definitely enjoy playing with different layouts 🙂
Today’s outfit is representative of the day; relaxed, simple and clean. I like to spend my Mondays reading, blogging, doing laundry, watching movies, cleaning my apartment and eating whatever my heart desires. These are all forms of self care and methods I use to de-stress after a work week (especially after working a 6 day week like the one I just had!). I’m wearing some UniqloxLemaire white pants. I bought a few pieces from this collection and these pants are my least favorite out of the bunch but they went very well with my Monday aesthetic. I paired them with a simple H&M tank top and some dramatic sunglasses to finish off the look. Check out my look below!
My second mood board! These are some looks I fell in love with while foraging through the depths of Pinterest. If you’re ever in need of outfit inspo or are searching for that missing item in your closet you never thought you needed, Pinterest is the place for you!
Yesterday I spent my day in natures palm, with my new friend Ruth! She took these beautiful pictures of me and I took pictures of the scenery around us. We explored the area around Sayama Lake, a stones throw away from Western Tokyo in neighboring Saitama Prefecture. I’m very excited to know such beautiful nature is so close to where I live! Details about my outfit and pictures below, everyone enjoy their week!
So hey guys I just recently got back from my vacation in Phuket 🇹🇭! It was awesome and much needed. Along the way I met some really nice people, tried new things and tried to look as bomb as I could without screaming “tourist” with my fits. I don’t usually invest in summer clothing because it’s just not my season for fashion and so the annual H&M 70% sale was a godsend. I bought so many tips and shorts at amazing prices like ¥500 yen a piece! These are some pictures of what I wore during my six days in Thailand!
So yesterday was my 23rd birthday! I celebrated all weekend but on my actual birthday (which is on a Monday) I was in what I like to call “blissful retail solitude” in the hip neighborhood of Shimokita, where I picked up some birthday presents for myself. I have pictures for you to see what I picked up!
Separate post coming on my weekend and what I wore!
I spent my weekend relaxing and preparing to travel for the next 12 days of my life. This weekend, Ill be going to Yamanashi Prefecture to be a camp counselor for my school! Ill be there for four days living in the widerness with 7-12 year olds so wish me luck. The next day I’ll be catching a flight to Phuket for my Obon week vacation! I’m still having a hard time narrowing down which clothes to take but I’ll make sure to do as many OOTD posts as I can. I did a quick OOTD in my apartment with flowers and darkness being my inspiration. Check out the pictures below!
