I went to Nakamura Park for the first time today. This is significant because Iv’e lived a one minute walk away from this park for nine months but have never been inside. I went with my co-worker Shawn, who obliged me by taking pictures for an OOTD. I apologize for my lack of posts, I’ve been very busy at work and have lost a little creative drive. I will try to post more regularly in the future.
Back from vacation in Tokyo with lots of new posts to upload. The first is an OOTD with some inspiration from animal prints. I paired a leopard skirt and a snakeskin shirt together for the ultimate ode to the animal kingdom. The shirt is APC and I found it in a used clothing shop for 9 dollars! The sunglasses are ASOS (old) and the skirt is from GU, a popular Japanese clothing brand similar to H&M. The earrings are also from ASOS and are Swarovski Crystals (a Christmas present to myself). Here are the photos below! (thank God for the self timer setting on cameras 🙂
Hey guys, I’m back with a new OOTD, that includes a traditional Japanese garment I hacked into a skirt. The Haramaki is used by the Japanese for warmth in the abdomen area. Me being me, I turned it into a pencil skirt and paired it with a cK sports bra and my cK vintage jean jacket. I also added a new patch to my jacket! As I was scouring the fabric store for black fabric to make my Halloween cape, I came across this biting lip patch that I immediately knew was destined for my jacket. Here are some pics below of how the jacket turned out and the rest of my outfit. Enjoy!
So sorry I haven’t posted in a while, there’s been a lot going on with work and other things and quite frankly, I’ve been lazy lol. But here’s a quick OOTD post in case you were wondering if I disappeared off the face of the Earth. I’ll be visiting the Higashiyama zoo this Sunday and will be more diligent about posting pictures in a timely fashion!
Recently I had a day off from work to show my boyfriend around Nagoya. We went to the Nagoya city art museum where we took some cool pictures in this exhibit. Take a look at my outfit! Despite the pictures I AM indeed wearing pants 😜
Hello all! Here is a special outfit of the day post, a collab with shopspring.com a retail hub for some of the most sought after brands and trendiest labels. The theme was spring, which usually means bright colors, maxi skirts and sandals, but knowing me, I would find a way to break the mold of what a typical spring outfit looks like. For this fit, I choose to go all black and create a breathable yet chic outfit. I started with a mock neck fitted dress from American Apparel, which I layered with a FILA mesh overshirt. I finished it off with my PLAY by Comme des Garcons Converse sneakers and Ray-Ban sunglasses. Living proof that you can wear black in the summer time and still stay cool. Check out https://www.shopspring.com/ for great deals on some of the hottest labels!
